Microsoft Named i4cp's Member of the Year

Scottsdale, AZ, March 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Microsoft was awarded the Institute for Corporate Productivity's (i4cp) 2018 Member of the Year Award last night at the i4cp 2018 Conference: Next Practices Now. The award is presented annually to an i4cp member company that has demonstrated outstanding innovations and achievement in workforce productivity.

Monica Pool Knox, Head of Global Talent Management, accepted the award in recognition of Microsoft’s advancements in human resources. The 124,000-employee company continues to see impressive share price growth, which has increased 235% over the last five years.

Among the most active member organizations in the i4cp network, Microsoft’s executives have been involved in various member programs throughout the year; Knox co-led a full-day workshop at the i4cp 2018 Conference, and Kathleen Hogan, Microsoft’s Chief HR Officer, presented on the company’s culture transformation at i4cp’s 2017 conference.

Several other highly respected organizations were recognized for their achievements throughout the weeklong conference:

• Amazon was the recipient of i4cp's 2018 High-Performance Award, in recognition of its outstanding achievements. Amazon has seen its share price triple over the last two years and continues to be a disruptive force across several industries. Trina Soske, Amazon’s Vice President of Global Learning & Development, accepted the award.

• DCP Midstream was honored with i4cp's New Member of the Year. In addition to seeing its share price double over the last two years, the Fortune 100 energy company contributed significantly to the i4cp membership network over the last year. DCP’s director of HR operations, Georgia Phifer, was on hand to accept the award.

• Lincoln Financial was recognized as the 2018 Exchange Member of the Year, in recognition of exemplary peer leadership and dedication to the advancement of the field of human resources. Lincoln Financial is involved in several of i4cp's Exchanges (peer working groups that help drive i4cp's research agenda). Michael Semo, Vice President of HR Strategic Services, accepted the award.

• Sheila Clark, Head of Diversity at the Federal Reserve Board, was the recipient of i4cp's Board Member of the Year, in recognition of her leadership and generous contributions to the advancement of the field of diversity and inclusion. Clark is a member of i4cp's Chief Diversity Officer Board, a strategic group of senior executives who lead D&I in their organizations.

Each year, i4cp recognizes exemplary performance and achievement in the field of human capital management at its annual conference. Next year's conference will be held March 11 – 14, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
