Local NICA Member Participates in National Home Inventory Month

Tampa, FL, April 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The National Inventory Certification Association (NICA) has designated April as National Home Inventory Month. NICA is the industry association that focuses on education and certification for home inventory service providers. Palmer Home and Inventory Professionals, LLC, a member of NICA, has chosen to participate in this initiative to provide information of the value of a home inventory.

A concerted effort by the association and all inventory professionals will raise awareness of the many life events that require or benefit from having this information prepared.

Recurring disasters, increased thefts, and a growing desire to protect one’s assets have encouraged the growth of this service industry. In addition to assisting with information when filing an insurance claim, home inventories also are required or preferred for estate settlement, financial and estate planning, separation of assets, pre-nuptials, and documenting collectibles. Busy lifestyles have encouraged many to hire an inventory professional to create this documentation for their permanent residence, vacation homes, apartments, and/or off-site storage units.
