AppsTek Announces Appointment of New Vice President – Sales & Business Development
Addison, TX, April 05, 2018 --(PR.com)-- AppsTek Corp. is pleased to announce and welcome Carolina Amaya as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Carolina will be responsible for the leadership of US sales team, developing new business opportunities in US and Latin America.
Carolina brings in more than 14 years of global IT sales leadership,experienced in hiring, managing, and training sales teams to exceed goals, while working in highly competitive industries and strained economic environments. Inspire trust and earn respect of team by demonstrating commitment and advocacy in resolving problems. Prior joining to AppsTek, Carolina managed sales and sales teams, Channel development, program management, growth, account management for CLARIXY Inc., Microsoft, Oracle, DELL/EMC Corporation and CITRIX Systems. Managed a team of 14 Hybrid Sales and Pre-Sales Engineers in the corporate segment of the business, across all industries for the central region (Texas, Chicago, Ohio, Detroit, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan). With specialists across Dynamics 365, Office365, Azure, Security, and Mobility. Logos Ericsson, NTT Data, Toyota, Exxon, Chevron, MD Anderson, etc. Carolina drove new sales volume to Fortune 1000 companies through consultative selling of EMC Storage and Back Up and Recovery solutions, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and services while managing and growing existing key client base. Some of the clients include Banco Santander, Office Depot, World Fuel Services, Burger King, Perry Ellis. In addition, Carolina has a proven record of facilitating long term business relationships with both customers and industry luminaries with her winning attitude.
Carolina graduated from Coconut Creek High School, and completed Technical and People Leadership Certifications that equates to a Master’s Degree. She is certified in Accelerating Cloud Sales Capacity Hybrid Cloud Certified & Security Pitch Perfect Certified | Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Certified | Holden Sales Methodology Certified from Microsoft. And, certified in Oracle Cloud, Hybrid Cloud Certified | DaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Certified from Oracle.
