Ferguson Roofing Celebrates 80 Years in Business with Charitable Campaign
St. Louis, MO, April 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Ferguson Roofing is proud to announce its “80 in 80” campaign to honor area organizations and charitable events before celebrating its 80th year in business in 2019. The campaign launched Sun., April 1.
The “80 in 80” campaign features three distinct categories of support, each with its own unique goals. The first category includes 40 slots: 20 filled by organizations which Ferguson Roofing has existing relationships with and the additional 20 sourced internally with employees selecting organizations of their own choosing.
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with several excellent organizations in the past and we’re excited to continue our support of the relationships we’ve built through the years,” said Jason Shupp, owner of Ferguson Roofing. “We’re also thrilled by the idea of giving our employees a voice in the selection process. Ferguson Roofing is a family and we want the whole family to be represented.”
The second category consists of another 20 slots filled from a community application process. Residents within Ferguson Roofing’s service area (over a 60-mile radius from Lambert Airport) can fill out an online application on the Ferguson Roofing website (https://www.fergusonroofing.com/about/80-in-80/). The application period will end on June 30, at which point a third-party committee will review and select 20 grant winners to receive money, volunteer hours or resources of up to $500 value each.
The third category features a trade industry scholarship process that will round out the remaining 20 slots.
“We are partnering with reputable technical schools and other organizations that provide training, certifications and opportunity for those pursuing a technical career,” said Shupp. “We know that businesses like ours depend on the existence of skilled labor. We also know that industries like ours can provide more than just jobs – we can also provide healthy and sustainable careers.”
Ferguson Roofing will feature the organizations and provide campaign updates on their website (https://www.fergusonroofing.com/about/80-in-80/) and social media profiles throughout the year.
