Holmdel, NJ, April 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Annual Central Jersey RV Show and Food Drive celebrates its 27th year and expects to break last year’s record crowd and food donations. The dates for this year’s event are Friday, April 20th through Sunday April 22nd. Show hours are 10am until 7pm Friday and Saturday, and 10am until 5pm on Sunday. Located at exit 116 on the Garden State Parkway, 15 minutes from Outerbridge Crossing and Staten Island, the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel offers plenty of free parking. This year’s show will feature a huge selection of travel trailers, fifth wheels, gas and diesel powered motorhomes, big and small to fit all budgets. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation for Fulfill, formerly the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean County. Please visit www.nj-rv-shows.com for further information.
This year’s goal is to exceed seven thousand pounds of non-perishable food donations in lieu of admission. “For over twenty-six years we have had the pleasure of leading this initiative to aid the Foodbank. This team effort between business and the RV community is a truly rewarding experience,” states Walter Hynes, General Manager of Scott Motor Coach RV Center of Lakewood. The need is great and donations of non-perishable food items go a long way. The food will be sorted and distributed throughout the Fullfill’s network of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs in the community. Programs such as Child Nutrition, Senior Food Programs, Nutrition Education and a Mobile Food Pantry are just some of the services that the Foodbank provides.
This Spring event is always looked upon as the premiere RV pre-season precursor of the Summer camping season. With Memorial Day right around the corner, low introductory pricing on the latest designs and best brands in the industry enable us to say “Good-bye Winter” and “hello to our favorite time of year!” Families get a chance to look through different RV types and pick out their favorite designs and features. They can work with experts to figure out budgets and financing that will allow them to experience their neighborhoods, state parks, landmarks and national treasures like never before.
RVs aren’t just for camping anymore. Having an RV in the driveway is like having a guest suite when relatives come to call. In a class a, b, or c motorhome you can turn a family outing into a convenient way to keep costs down with your own kitchen, bathroom and changing room at the beach, and dazzle your friends with the ultimate tailgate party! Long distance trips to visit grandma doesn’t have to mean scrambling for clean bathrooms, motel rooms or a diner that meets your special requirements.
And today you can keep your kids connected with a satellite dish, LCD TVs and home theaters, wi-fi, solar panels and off grid battery banks, while mom and dad dine by candlelight on a blanket in the sand. From cozy fireplaces and island kitchen spaces to outdoor cooking and entertainment centers and bunk bed accommodations for larger families, there is something for everyone in today’s RV. At the Central Jersey RV Show and Food Drive you can see it, walk through it, experience it and make decisions with the help of experts.
