South Carolina Senior Sports State Games Early Bird Registration Ends April 15th, and Closes May 1st
The 33rd annual South Carolina Senior Sports Classic (SCSSC) State Games will be held May 16-19 at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC. May 1st is the deadline for registration, Early Bird ends April 15th so sign up today. Entry forms are available at your local recreation departments or by going online at www.scseniorgames.com.
Florence, SC, April 08, 2018 --(PR.com)-- This National Senior Games Association sanctioned event offers 27 major sports open competition including; Tennis, Golf, Road Race, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Cycling, Track & Field, Archery, Billiards, Bowling, Swimming, Basketball, Pickleball, Raquetball, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Badminton, Bocce to name a few.
Competition is in 9 age groups; 50-54, 55-64, 65-69, 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85-89, 90-94, 100+; for men and women athletes. The Games boast team and individual elite recreational competition with gold, silver and bronze medalists. They hope that you will encourage your family and friends to come and participate.
The SCSSC is the only South Carolina sanctioned event for the National Senior Games Association, a member of the US Olympic Committee, and the qualifying event for the National Senior Games. Compete and win at this open event and you may qualify to represent the State of South Carolina at the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The SCSSC encourages every South Carolinian to embrace the opportunity to create and maintain a physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy lifestyle.
