DAVACO Participates in 2018 FGI of Dallas Scholarship Program
DAVACO is pleased to announce the company is once again sponsoring Fashion Group International of Dallas with the organization's 2018 Scholarship Competition. The event, which will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Dallas Market Center’s Trade Mart Grand Pavilion.

The event, which will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Dallas Market Center’s Trade Mart Grand Pavilion, will include a fashion show and recognition ceremony in which more than $60,000 in college scholarships will be awarded.

The competition challenges students and faculty to compete in a variety of categories, including the design of bridal/evening gown; women's sportswear; little black dress; menswear; and accessories, as well as merchandising and business planning competitions. DAVACO is sponsoring and serving on the judges' panel for the merchandising scholarships, which include the "Digital Store Planning and Design" and "Digital Fashion Merchandising" competitions.
All entries are due by March 30, 2018. The grand prizes include: The Fashion Excellence Award ($10,000 scholarship); The PAA Couture Award (tuition, accommodations, airfare and spending allowance for a summer semester at Paris America Academy in France); and the Nha Khanh Apprenticeship which provides the opportunity to work on fashion designer Nha Khanhs' Spring 2019 collection.
