SHEEN Magazine Presents KIMMIE AWARDS 2018: Fashion Show/Fundraiser, Free Empowerment Sessions and Black Tie Gala

Atlanta, GA, April 11, 2018 --(PR.com)-- SHEEN Magazine is pleased to announce the KIMMIE AWARDS 2018 Weekend. This year’s theme is: Celebrating Ingenuity in Living Color. We want to invite you, your viewers/listeners and followers to experience this highly anticipated weekend: Friday, April 27-Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis at Peachtree Center.

The weekend will include a Fashion Show/Fundraiser, several Empowerment Sessions hosted by various high-profile fashion, hair and beauty experts. The Empowerment Sessions are free and open to the public. KIMMIE AWARDS will host its annual Black Tie Gala designed to commemorate a New Year of existence for SHEEN Magazine and celebrate individuals deemed as Legends.

7:00 PM - Annual Chapman Foundation Fashion Show/Blue Carpet
SHEEN Magazine will present its 9th Annual Fashion Show, “Dream in Color” to benefit the Chapman Foundation, Inc. The annual Fashion Show was created in order to raise monetary donations for Chapman Foundation, which awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors in throughout the United States. In addition, Chapman Foundation provides an opportunity to integrate young people interested in volunteering their time, service and commitment to community development. Over the years, Chapman Foundation has participated and hosted many events such as: the Pynkalycious Breast Cancer Awareness, annual student hair competition, silent auctions, Black Tie affairs, Historically Black Colleges and Universities Tour, and the Holiday Food & Toy Drive. With these events, the foundation has been able to collect funds in order to awards educational scholarships to commendable students.
