Finalists were invited to compete with a live award show in San Ramon, California on April 8, 2018. Vanessa Rowlett completed her case study using the ExPürtise® Effective Anti-Aging Collection and is the winner of The Skin Games 2018 student category. A second ExPürtise® sponsored contestant, Leigh Pomerleau, qualified as a finalist in the pigmentation category.

Finalists then go on to compete at the live show in front of a panel of judges. Winners are announced based on final scores during the award ceremony.
