Boys and Girls Clubs of North Central Texas Announce BGC World Music Festival, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Lewisville Lake in Hickory Creek, Texas
Festival to benefit at-risk youth in North Texas
Denton, TX, April 18, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas announced today that they will be hosting the BGC World Music Festival, May 12, 2018 at Arrowhead Park at Lake Lewisville in Hickory Creek, Texas.
"We are very excited to announce our inaugural BGC World Music Festival benefiting our at-risk youth club members,” Rick Troutman, President said. "Our music festival performer lineup includes very talented regional and local bands including the Steve Helms Band, the Shane Bell Band, NT4 Band, Plato’s Theory, Jesse and the Hogg Brothers, Megan Storie and Mobile Commotion. We’ve got country to classic rock bands performing and everything in between,” Troutman said.
Troutman stated that he developed the idea of the festival on the lake and worked closely with the Town of Hickory Creek, Texas to make it happen. “All of the town council, administration and staff of the Town of Hickory Creek have very supportive in assisting our fundraising efforts for our organization. Our goal is to grow the festival each year and provide quality entertainment this year and beyond,” stated Troutman.
BGC World Music Festival information and tickets are available at their website at BGCWorldMusicFest dot comGates open at 11:00 a.m. and the first band performance begins at 12:00 p.m. All net proceeds will go to support at-risk youth programs at the five (5) Boys and Girls Clubs of North Texas clubs located in Denton County, Texas.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Texas (BGCNCT) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization headquartered in Lake Dallas, Texas and is a chartered member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. BGCNCT has been providing daily education, recreational, social and cultural enrichment programs and activities for its members since 1994. Their mission is promoting education, positive choices and health for youth with the purpose of prevention and support to kids in need at their five Denton County, Texas locations.
