Pro-Sapien Announces New Hosting Service for Office 365 EHS Software Deployments
Pro-Sapien, provider of enterprise EHS&Q software on SharePoint and Office 365, has today announced an additional hosting option for clients. New customers can now opt to have Pro-Sapien manage the IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, required to access the EHS program.
Glasgow, United Kingdom, April 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The new hosting service will open up the award-winning EHS system to mid-market organizations using Office 365 but who have not invested in Azure, the Microsoft Cloud.
Pro-Sapien, provider of enterprise EHS&Q software on SharePoint and Office 365, has today announced an additional hosting option for clients. New customers can now opt to have Pro-Sapien manage the IT infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, required to access the EHS program.
Up until now, clients using Microsoft Office 365 required an Azure environment in order to use Pro-Sapien’s award-winning EHS software, which is an Azure-hosted add-in. Azure is the Microsoft Cloud, used by 80% of Fortune 500 companies. The new hosting option means customers on Office 365 can instead use Pro-Sapien’s segmented Azure environment if they do not have their own.
There are a number of benefits to this, including less reliance on the client IT team for implementations, more timely delivery, and the ability of businesses to benefit from Pro-Sapien’s software without incurring the challenge of managing Azure inhouse. Andy Gray, Principal Consultant at Pro-Sapien commented:
“Being able to offer a hosted service gives our clients even more flexibility in how we deploy our software. The HSEQ Innovate solution can be deployed on private and public clouds as well as being implemented in the traditional on-premise SharePoint server scenario.
“Every solution we offer provides the same Microsoft single sign on log in credentials making user training and adoption easy. Furthermore, our cloud solutions store our client’s data within Microsoft data centers, the same data centers that the IT team will have security checked for Office 365 use. The Microsoft platform also provides tier 1 flexibility for global customers who wish to use local data centers whilst maintaining the highest levels of security and certification standards.”
This announcement takes Pro-Sapien’s available hosting options up to three:
1. On-premise SharePoint 2013, 2016
2. Office 365 with client hosted Azure
3. Office 365 with Pro-Sapien hosted Azure (new)
The decision to offer this third option was taken by Pro-Sapien to open up the integrated EHS software to a wider audience, which may now increasingly include SMEs or mid-market organizations that have not invested in Azure. Gray commented:
“Those organizations that currently use Office 365 but don’t yet or plan to use Microsoft’s Azure services can benefit from Pro-Sapien’s Azure platform. Either way, we can migrate our software to a client’s own Azure managed environment at a later date if they wish.”
Although on-premise is still the preferred deployment option for EHS systems, it is predicted by independent analyst firm Verdantix that Cloud deployment will constitute more than 50% of the market value by mid-2020, which Pro-Sapien’s latest offering will help facilitate.
