The Source OC Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a Cultural "Fiesta de Mayo" Event
• Special ballet folklorico performance by Las Estrellas of the Orange County School of the Arts • Children’s Museum of La Habra, celebrating their 40th Anniversary, to preview their upcoming exhibit “Lindo Mexico” • Rare handcrafts from various regions of Mexico will be showcased, presented by The Consulate of Mexico, Orange County • The event is free and open to all ages on 5/06/2018 (Sun) from 1-4PM
Buena Park, CA, April 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Source OC, Southern California’s newest entertainment and lifestyle destination in Buena Park, celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a day of cultural and traditional Mexican performances at “Fiesta de Mayo.” This event will take place on Sunday, May 06, 2018 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM, and is free and open to all ages.
Fiesta de Mayo will showcase various traditional Mexican performances including mariachi, dancing and other musicians to help share and celebrate the Mexican culture. The ballet folklorico group “Las Estrellas” from the Orange County School of the Arts will also be performing on stage.
Through partnerships with the Consulate of Mexico of Orange County, various vendor booths will also be selling handcrafts and gifts representing the different regions of Mexico. The Children’s Museum of La Habra will be previewing their upcoming “Lindo Mexico” exhibit, opening in June until December 2018. Other children’s activities include free facepainting, balloon twisting and a mini piñata making workshop.
