Boston Photographer Receives International Attention
Boston, MA, April 27, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Documentary and people photographer Steven Edson, who lives in the Boston area, was hired by The Weather Channel to create the compelling photographs to accompany a recent story on climate change and its impact on Humarock Beach in Scituate, MA. There's a $9.6 million dollar plan to protect Humarock from increasingly damaging storms fed by sea level rise, but some residents just don't like the terms. One of his portrait images of long time home owner Don Hourihan was selected as a winning entry in Communication Arts 2018 Photography Annual. Of the 3,401 entries to the 59th Photography Annual, only 127 were accepted, representing the work of 123 photographers, making the Photography Annual the most exclusive major photography competition in the world. Publication is set for July/August 2018 for both digital and print distribution of the magazine.
