College Exams – Success in Life Hosts Two Day Workshop
Clearwater, FL, April 30, 2018 --(PR.com)-- On Friday the 20th of April, Success in Life, a volunteer group that teaches people how to solve everyday problems through good communication, held their first workshop in the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center, established in Downtown Clearwater by the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization. This was a free pilot program to help college students become more able to handle day-to-day situations by developing communication skills in handling life problems. Ten St. Pete College students participated in the pilot made especially to help them face their upcoming exams.
Success in Life had 5 trainers to help develop these skills. Each student partnered with another to do one-on-one coaching during the workshops. The trainers guided those participants to ensure their communication skills get well honed.
“People talk to one another, but have they really learned how to communicate?” said Ms. Pam Callahan, President of Success in Life. “We teach people how to do exactly that – communicate and exchange ideas. We’ve really enjoyed helping these college students improve their communication skills, something necessary to have fulfilling relationships and get what you want out of life!”
All of those who organize and run Success in Life are volunteers and all proceeds from the communication workshops go towards keeping the organization running for future events.
“It’s amazing to see that people are helping one another, even though they just met each other for the first time,” said Michael Soltero, manager for the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center. “We offer the Center’s facilities as a complimentary service to non-profits and we are very happy to do so. It’s as humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard once said, ‘I like to help others and count it as my greatest pleasure in life’.”
