Powerstone Property Management Raises $82,000 for PCRF at Reaching for the Cure Event
The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is celebrating its 20th year. The event featured 40 sponsors, 70 vendors, 111 teams and 500 volunteers.
Irvine, CA, May 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Powerstone Property Management Inc. a full service Orange County California based property management firm announced today that $82,000 was raised by Powerstone in support of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) which recently hosted their Reaching for the Cure Event. The 20th Annual 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, 1K Kids' Fun Run & Bike Tour event raised over $ 545,000 in total contributions. It is recognized as one of OC’s favorite weekend family events. It was held at Irvine Valley College on March 25th and was attended by over 5,000 people. Powerstone, for the seventh year in a row, raised the largest amount for a Corporate Champion team. “Team Powerstone, led by Powerstone Vice President Kendrah Kay, once again held nothing back to make this event successful. The effort, especially from our Diamond Sponsors, reflects just how important this cause is,” says Rene’ Decker, CEO of Powerstone, who adds, “We’ve been fortunate and excited to be able to support the PCRF and lead in Corporate donations for seven consecutive years. These new funds will go immediately toward lifesaving research to help improve the care, quality of life, and survival rates of children with cancer. This year Powerstone is excited to name the following Diamond Sponsors who donated a minimum of $4,250 and include Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, Animal Pest Management, Nordic Security Services, LeCourt Plumbing, Park West Landscape Management, Monarch Environmental, Brightview Landscape, and Spectrum Property Services. In addition special drawing sponsor Villa Del Palmar, at the Islands of Loreto, on the Sea of Cortez offered a time-share as grand prize, which generated over $3000 in ticket sales.
