Arizona Public Service Wins Award for Best CIS Implementation
Atlanta, GA, May 05, 2018 --(PR.com)-- TMG Consulting announced today that its client, Arizona Public Service (APS), won the Expanding Excellence Award for Best CIS Implementation.
APS was awarded this honor during the opening general session during CS Week on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, in Tampa, Florida. Awards in this category were presented to one large and one small utility in North America.
After achieving all milestones on schedule, APS transitioned from its legacy CIS to Oracle CC&B on March 6, 2017, the original target date set two years prior. Although the project scope was extended from the original plan, it was on budget. A major structural rate case was successfully implemented across the entire customer base on the new system only five months after the go-live.
According to Jim Hendershot, a Senior Consultant at TMG who was the Quality Assurance Manager on the project, “The APS implementation was a great coming together of many strengths and the Program Manager, Jassi Aurora, demanded – and got – the best project elements possible. Great teams don’t happen very often and don’t happen by accident. Thanks to all participants, this was a great team and, to underline this, there was no attrition of key people on either the customer or supplier side. It was an absolute pleasure being a part of the effort.”
