PikMyKid and D-Prep Join Forces to Host School Safety Workshop

Tampa, FL, May 10, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Student safety has become a topic of national focus. It’s a subject that can often be met with frustration, confusion, and concern by all involved. Maintaining a safe learning environment is a discussion that includes school personnel, students, and parents alike. D-Prep is no stranger to rising to this sort of challenge; they specialize in training law enforcement officials on the latest in disaster preparedness. PikMyKid and D-Prep are taking proactive and preventative measures to ensure that safety is more than just a buzzword. With their workshop, participants will be able to practice tangible procedures that will save time and lives. At the end of the conference, attendees will receive a certificate, demonstrating their mastery of school safety procedures.

The workshop will feature segments on behavioral intervention, threat assessment and the effective use of available School Safety Technologies.

The entire seminar is scheduled to run Monday May 14th from 7:30AM - 6:00PM at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, Florida. PikMyKid and D-Prep will be there to answer questions and provide insight on disaster preparedness and school safety.
