Pass Out Records' Ukulele Jazz Master Abe Lagrimas, Jr. Launches Kickstarter Campaign
Ten new songs featuring Abe as a composer, arranger, drummer, vibraphonist, and ukulele player. Fresh acoustic jazz and improvised music.
Los Angeles, CA, May 11, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Pass Out Record's premiere artist, Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is turning to fans to make his new record a reality. "Crowdfunding is a great way to directly communicate with your fans and the Kickstarter platform is simply the best way to reach them," says Abe. In addition to the new music, Abe's Kickstarter campaign features special incentives such as ukulele strings, a copy of the original sheet music, private ukulele lessons via Skype or in-person in the Los Angeles-area, and a private 1-hour solo ukulele performance.
The entire album, recorded in a 2-day whirlwind production schedule includes his favorite musicians and friends in the Los Angeles area: Matt Politano (piano), Sezin Ahmet Türkmenoğlu (upright and electric bass), Danny Janklow (alto saxophone), and Nick Mancini (vibraphone). Co-produced with Derek Nakamoto, engineered and mixed by Glenn Suravech at Stagg Street Studio and mastered by Peter Doell, the self-titled project highlights the many colors of Abe's musical mastery.
