SAN Group Celebrates 35 Years at Annual Business Meeting

More than 500 attendees set a record turnout as SAN celebrated 35 years of success at its Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA.

Hampton, NH, May 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Satellite Agency Network (SAN) Group, Inc. celebrated 35 years of success at its Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. More than 500 insurance industry professionals attended the one-day event, which featured workshops, panel discussions, trade show, luncheon, and a keynote address from Scott Stratten, a best-selling author, renowned social media influencer, and president of UnMarketing.com.

Participants included SAN member agency owners and staff, insurance company partners and executives, vendors, and industry subject matter experts. The event theme, “The ‘80s,” was prevalent throughout the exhibit hall, where attendees celebrated 35 years of independent agency growth with SAN Group, founded in 1983.

“The insurance industry continues to evolve at a more rapid pace, so our goal is to help prepare our member agents for imminent change, and put forth an information-rich conference that delivers actionable strategies and solutions for the agent of the future,” said Matt Masiello, SAN President and CEO. “We are pleased at the number of members who took the opportunity to help forge a future for their agency’s growth and success.”

SAN member agencies had the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops organized into two separate tracks – personal lines and commercial lines – that focused on the transition to the independent agent of the future, in addition to panel discussions and partner companies-led demonstrations and short talks. The meeting’s keynote address, “Stop Marketing, Start Engaging,” was delivered by renowned author and social media influencer, Scott Stratten. Stratten’s high-energy, captivating presentation gave an enlightened, fresh perspective on how to effectively engage people for marketing and sales.
