Direct Lending Partners Hires Industry Leader as Director of Originations and Capital Markets
St. Augustine, FL, May 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Dream Live Prosper (DLP), an award-winning family company led by Don Wenner (Founder and CEO), is excited to announce the appointment of Greg E Schecher as Director of Originations and Capital Markets.
Based out of the company’s Southeast headquarters in St. Augustine, Florida, Greg will lead the firm’s CRE bridge loan lending and marketplace lending platform. “The achievements of the founder, the phenomenal attitudes, and level of talent and genuine teamwork profoundly impressed me. The more I learned about the culture and its mission, the more I wanted to participate in Don's vision,” comments Greg.
In his new role, Greg will be responsible for strategic oversight and management of the CRE bridge loans funded and offered for investment on the platform. His purview will include business development, account management, underwriting, and portfolio management.
His past experience in building and growing businesses will be very valuable as DLP adds various forms of capital vehicles to the bridge loan and equity programs. Greg has participated in the major aspects of CRE; CMBS, conventional financing, bridge loan financing, equity placement, workouts, acquisitions, dispositions, banking and note sales, mortgage banking, and development investment sales. This experience, combined with his operational experience, is the combination DLP was seeking. Knowledge of the various capital sources and their structures is also an added plus to achieving DLP's goals.

Schecher has 35 years of real estate equity and debt experience. This includes 6 years as Regional Director for Johnson Capital in NYC and Boca, Senior Lender for Amboy Bank, Senior Director for NAI Global corporate, and being the Founder and CEO of Westminster Capital. Schecher was also the Regional Director at Money360. He was one of three original senior members of the originating staff, contributing in branding and assisting in achieving its rapid expansion and growth.
