Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau Unveils Online Video Marketing Tool for Customers

Innovative Broadcasts to be Ground-Breaking in Scope.

Chicago, IL, March 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau (CCTB) announced today that it will offer its customers and their exhibitors the opportunity to participate in an unprecedented online video program series to promote the excitement and innovation demonstrated at industry tradeshows and public shows. The show, entitled “Live from the Floor of McCormick Place” is part of an expansive campaign developed by the CCTB to help its customers achieve superior show results.

“The CCTB is continuously researching and developing new tools to help our customers achieve the greatest results possible,” said Tim Roby, President and CEO, CCTB. “Creating added value for show organizers and their exhibitors is what we’re all about and I believe we’ve hit the mark with this online video platform and the entire PrivilegedAccess.tv package.”

The CCTB is the first CVB in the country to launch a customized online program in an effort to help its customers extend their global brand. Through a partnership with Chicago-based PrivilegedAccess.tv and the Emmy award-winning KRT Productions, a global platform will be established from which to communicate the complexity and uniqueness of Chicago’s meetings and convention industry. All telecasts will be produced during the show and will be accessible at www.choosechicago.com as well as www.PrivilegedAccess.tv.

The programming series will kick off with the 2008 International Home + Housewares Show March 16 and will highlight the latest products that are not yet available to the general public.

Participating exhibitors will receive a professionally produced two to three-minute online video segment with full rights; master DVD of the segment to use as sales tool, information, commercial, etc.; segment posted on “Live from the Floor of McCormick Place” and PrivilegedAccess.tv for one year; direct links from the CCTB web site; distribution of video segment to domestic and international news organizations and online portals.
