Medic-CE Partners with the Center for Patient Safety
Medic-CE has partnered with the Center for Patient Safety to provide EMS professionals the opportunity to receive and track patient safety continuing education credits during their one-day symposium.
Lehi, UT, May 25, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Medic-CE, a leading provider of online continuing education for EMS and fire professionals, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Center for Patient Safety (CPS). The partnership will allow EMS professionals to easily track and access their CEUs as they learn how to provide a safe healthcare environment for others.
“Medic-CE strives to make training and education easier and more convenient for EMS professionals," said Judson Smith, Medic-CE Vice President of Continuing Education. “We are excited to partner with the Center for Patient Safety so that EMS professionals have the opportunity to receive all of their patient safety credits in one day and easily track them through the Medic-CE platform."
With Medic-CE's learning platform, EMS professionals can track all of their continuing education in one place—whether CEUs are completed with CPS, directly through Medic-CE or through another unaffiliated training provider. This makes it easier for providers to keep track of the CEUs they have earned as well as monitor what they still need to complete for recertification.
"At CPS, we research medical mistakes, learn why they have occurred, and educate others on preventing future events. We are pleased to partner with Medic-CE to provide solutions and education for healthcare providers that will help them avoid preventable mistakes and improve patient safety throughout their community,” said Lee Vame, Director of Patient Safety at the Center for Patient Safety.
