Watchmen Arts Appoints New Assistant Director
The board of Watchmen Arts Association has appointed a new Assistant Director - Brian Vicente.
Riverside, CA, May 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Board of Directors Appoints Brian Vicente to Assistant Director
Watchmen Arts Association (Watchmen Arts), a Riverside-based non profit organization that fields competitive programs in ADLA, SCPA, WGI, and DCI associations, announces the appointment of its new Assistant Director, Brian Vicente. Mr. Vicente will be responsible for the association’s communications standards, and the continued leadership and development of all program operations, logistics, and initiatives. In addition to the appointment Mr. Vicente will join the association’s Policy and Compliance Committee. Mr. Vicente has already assumed his duties as of May 2018.

To entrust me with the unique opportunity to lead and develop the association is a mandate of the highest order; never to be handled impetuously. I look forward to applying all of the successful techniques and inspirative leadership learned during my time working in show business, and to the boundless growth of each program of Watchmen Arts,” commented Mr. Vicente as he stepped off a flight from Boston.
Mr. Vicente, from California, is appointed after a successful season with the winter percussion program as the lead snare technician. During the past season he was integral to the process of internal organization and implemented many procedures that resulted in more effective rehearsals, a more organized staff, and a tremendous moral boost in the members. Having been involved with percussion since a young age, Mr. Vicente marched all 4 years in High School, and marched in the San Diego Alternative Percussion group alongside Caption Head Harry Hutchins. He studied electronic production and design while attending Berklee College of Music. He has taught at San Pasqual High School, San Pedro Music School for Children, and countless private lessons.
“Adding Mr. Vicente to the admin team was a no brainer. His passion and drive to make others around him feel confident is infectious which breathes new life within our organization,” David Becker, the Executive Director said. “The leadership skills that he brings to the group will undoubtedly help launch Watchmen to the next level and that is exciting to say the least. We welcome Brian to the Watchmen Family and are excited for the journey he takes the organization on.”
