Florida Entrepreneur Javaris Neely of Tiki Clothing Company Donates $1000 Worth of Merchandise to Students at Congress Middle School
Boynton Beach, FL, May 29, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Students at the Congress Middle School in Boynton Beach, FL will also remember Javaris Neely for having a big heart. Congress Middle School teacher Ms.Goldwire invited the entrepreneur to speak at career day Friday, May 18th. Neely's apparel company, Tiki, used $1,000 of inventory & surprised a classroom of special need students and issued pairs of their signature WaveRunner sneakers, T-shirts, Wristbands & Candy to students and staff. In February 2016 Neely launched Tiki's first footwear model called the WaveRunner boost. One year later in February 2017 he launched the WaveRunner II. Neely describes A Wave Runner as a strong and confident person, someone who is learning to make choices that will result in a healthier and more fulfilling life, basically anyone trying to overcome the odds in life.
According to Tikiclothingco.com, The Waverunners are an alternative sneaker for families who can't afford sneakers that typically sell for $100 to $200. The key component is that it's something that people need, not what they want, "Without clothes & shoes, many children are not permitted to attend school, adults are unable to work. Life starts to become unbearable,” says Javaris. After speaking briefly about the Design and manufacturing process and investing, Neely encouraged the students to keep their grades up and to persevere in school and in life. “I was so pleased for the opportunity to present Tiki Clothing Company & Apparel LLC, introduce our signature WaveRunner sneaker and inspire awareness that starting your own small business is a viable and vibrant career option, this event was more than donating merchandise, it was about connection. As students and staff came up to get the shoes they flaunted some of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen. I could never miss the merchandise I donated, I could never regret going to speak at career day because now we are connected. I’m now connected to the students who are the Future Business Leaders of America along with being connected to the administrators,” said Neely.
