Brite Smiles Offers Advice for Flossing with Complex Dental Work
Brite Smiles Dental Care in Apple Valley, is offering their advice on how to floss under a bridge or how to floss with complex dental work.
Apple Valley, MN, May 29, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Brite Smiles Dental Care (http://www.britesmilesdentalcare.com), in Apple Valley, is offering their advice on how to floss under a bridge or how to floss with complex dental work.
Brite Smile’s advice is the following:
Brush your teeth as you normally would. If you have a regular or an implant bridge, you can brush as if you were brushing natural teeth. After brushing, you can use a Proxabrush, a device that is like a toothpick with a brush on the end. You place the Proxabrush between the teeth or under the bridge at the gum level and saw it back and forth comfortably. You can use the Proxabrush around your natural teeth as well, especially if flossing is becoming hard. Don’t push too hard to fit the Proxabrush in between the teeth; use it wherever it will fit in between the teeth.
Superfloss is used like regular floss, but it has a stiffer side to get under a bridge. Floss as normal, pulling the remaining floss out. To use the floss threader, place the floss through the hole and place the threader under the bridge and floss as normal, pulling the remaining floss out.
Linda B., a patient at Brite Smiles, said, “I came to your office because I am interested in good, reputable dental care and was very adequately pleased. My questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly and concisely. All staff were very responsive and professional. Thank you.”
Dr. Dennis Simmons graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1976, receiving the Class Honor in prosthetics – dentures partial and full. Since then, he has participated in over 3,000 hours of continuing education courses, focusing primarily on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, dental implants and implant-supported restorations, orthodontics, extractions, crown/bridge, root canals, bite and TMJ disorders and sleep apnea. For his studies, he has been honored with the status of “Diplomate” from the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the International Osseous (bone) Integration Society.
