They presented the agenda of the meeting highlighting its importance both on the side of the young engineering graduates with double French and Italian degrees, achieved through a course of study that lasted six years, and that of the companies that had the opportunity to meet 50 potential candidates through the afternoon.
In addition to the morning’s interventions, there were also two Round Tables that welcomed the testimonies of the participating companies: The Akkademy, AlixPartners, Auchan, Biomerieux Italia, Bnp Paribas Italia, Cuki Cofresco, Crédit Agricole, Edison, Greenrail, Saint Gobain Glass Italia, Siram, Sopra Steria e Synergie Italia Agenzia per il lavoro. Amongst these large companies participating in the round table sessions was also the CEO of ELSE Corp, a startup that works on development of a Cloud Saas & API platform for Virtual Retail, Andrey Golub, who said:
“This meeting is fundamental for us too, as we are a startup just ready for commercial launch worldwide, after almost two years of research and development and of fostering partnerships, focused purely in the luxury fashion & retail sector, so it is therefore essential to create a relationship with France. Regarding our working atmosphere, we aim to create a structured environment with autonomous responsibilities, and above all very international, which both enables us to think 'out of the box' and also is a plus given that our customers come from all over the world. For this reason the profiles we are looking for must be flexible, have an open mind and always be ready to learn new things, ready for new challenges."
In the afternoon, meetings were held between HR managers of the companies and the students who had the opportunity to show their multidisciplinary and intercultural profiles, obtained thanks to their chosen paths, an initiative that has definitely brought added value and contributed to the improved supply of professionals in this industry. The day ended with cocktails at Terrazza Copernico, where the companies and students had a chance to get further acquainted and continue networking.
