The VeteransBizUp conference is a one-day event for military personnel, veterans and their spouses for available services in the area of Career Transition, Health & Wellness and Entrepreneurship opportunities. During the event, there will be workshops and on-site job recruiting and services.

ALSTNTEC, LLC has announced there will be a VeteransBizUp Conference held at the Holiday Inn Washington-College Park hotel located at 10000 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, Maryland on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This conference is to provide educational workshops and on-site assistance in the areas of Career, Entrepreneurship, and Health & Wellness for military personnel, veterans, and their spouses via nine workshops.
During this one-day conference, nine (9) informative and certified specialists will be giving an educational workshop in these areas. Our primary objective is to make it easier for them to find the resources they desperately need, inform them of available career and business opportunities, and give them information they can readily use.
Supporting organizations include Leidos, University of Phoenix Veterans Outreach Program, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Labor, The Prince George’s Veterans Upward Bound Program, Carolyn’s Community Group Home for (Veteran) Women, Women Offering Wealth, Keller Williams Reality, The, Destination Achievers Incorporation, and other supporting organizations that are participating in the event.
Registration is required to attend this free event. Attendees can register via EventBright at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/veteransbizup-conference-tickets-39206576927. Attendees should bring proof of military service, which include either a Veterans Administration Universal Access Card, Military I.D., DD-214, or a Veterans Service Organization Card from groups like the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion.
