The Skier’s Edge® Company Sponsors the 2008 USSA Masters Eastern Regional Championships

Park City, UT, March 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The 2008 Skier’s Edge USSA Masters Eastern Regional Championships scheduled March 6-9 will be hosted by Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, NY. The event is estimated to draw over 180 Masters racers from the eastern half of the United States, including members of the U.S. Ski Team.

All races will take place at Whiteface Mountain’s world class Draper’s Drop—a run hosted for many USSA elite World Cup races.

In addition to the USSA medals presented to class winners of Groups A-D, other medals will also be awarded to those racers earning class medals within their respective races over the weekend. The awards parties will take place at Wise Guys in downtown Lake Placid following the races on Friday and Saturday; and the Sunday post-race awards will be hosted by New York Ski Education Foundation (NYSEF) at their training center.

The 2008 Skier’s Edge USSA Masters United States races series will conclude with the 2008 National Championships, scheduled March 17-22 at Mammoth Mountain, CA and the 2008 FIS World Championships, held April 1-13 in Pichl-Mandling, Austria.
