He was the President of the National District Attorneys Association in 1978, President of the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association in 1971 and was the Outstanding Prosecutor of Ohio that same year. He has served on the Democratic State Central Committee from 1993 through 2017 and was an Advisory Council Member at Chaminade-Julienne. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and sports.
