Major Australian Bank Taps Iontas for 2,600 Seats of Focus Software
Austin, TX, March 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Iontas, a global provider of business process optimization software, disclosed today that a major Australian based bank has purchased 1,300 licenses of both Iontas’s Activity Focus and Event Focus software. The bank plans to use the Iontas software to increase efficiency in their back office.
Iontas’s Focus software suite, which consists of three modules, gives companies the unique ability to understand exactly how employees use software to do their day-to-day jobs so they can improve business processes and resource allocation. The Activity Focus module captures detailed data on how users interact with their software applications, including information such as what applications and web pages users access, how long they spend in a given window or page, and even values entered by users or returned by software. The Event Focus module monitors software activity to detect specific events (such as values entered, thresholds reached, security violations, etc) and to trigger actions based on these occurrences. The third module in the Focus suite, Process Focus, recognizes and captures data on entire business processes that may span multiple software applications and steps.
