Jems Recruitment Re-Brands and Launches Their New Site to Help People Find Careers
Jems Recruitment is turning 10 this year and due to a double-digit birthday, they’ve had a massive re-brand and site launch.
London, United Kingdom, June 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- This September Jems Recruitment, a specialist recruitment agency for Financial Professionals, Business Support and Management, will be celebrating its 10th birthday.
To celebrate this milestone www.jemsrecruitment.co.uk have re-branded. The new face of Jems has a new logo, a new website but have still kept the same ethos; to get to know their candidates for the person they are. Behind every application someone has a story for why they want a new direction and it’s Jems’ job to help them pick the right one. Equally Jems gets to know their clients and what type of person would fit into their company.
Jems Recruitment was started by Jo Samuels when she and her colleagues were made redundant with no notice. It was the beginning of the recession and whilst she knew she was far from alone in her situation, she was also a mum of a two-year-old, and due to have her second child the following month. Knowing she wasn’t in the best circumstances to be interviewing for a new job she began to build a business.
Being in recruitment for most of her life, Jo realised the importance on placing emphasis on candidates being people, not numbers or a means to hit a target. So Jems Recruitment was born to find, support and guide candidates into finding a job that they don’t mind waking up on a Monday morning for.
It’s this thought process which has led to the positive testimonials from candidates and clients.
The Jem team is growing and are hoping to get even more like minded individuals on the team to.! Currently the team includes Jo Samuels, Lucy Watson, Charlotte Lynch and Holly Stewart.
Other features the site has are blog posts to help pre-and-post job and opinion pieces too with thoughts and ideas to share.
Commenting on the launch of the website and also for working mums, who are striving to balance work and home life, Director & Founder Jo Samuels said, “Through a lot of hard work, dedication, commitment and sleepless nights, I have driven the business from strength to strength. In the early days when I was up at 1am, 2am and 3am with the kids, I questioned what I was doing and whether I could make it work with two young children. My husband, who is a very hands-on dad, was the voice of reason. After many conversations at 1am about this and each time all he needed to say was 'you can do this' and 'you’re a great recruiter', and so I carried on.
“It's great to see my children’s interest in my business and also teaching them to understand the concept of work, working mums and how to juggle lives.”
Jems are planning on and link up or partner with other businesses that are also keen on helping people grow in their careers.
