TFI Envision Attends Supplier Growth Summit Event

Stamford, CT, June 13, 2018 --(PR.com)-- As a self certified WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business), TFI Envision was eligible to attend the May 23, 2018 Connecticut Supplier Growth Summit, held in Stamford, CT, hosted by the Business Council of Fairfield County. This "must attend" sold out conference provided the opportunity for small and diverse suppliers like TFI Envision, to meet new prospects, including Pitney Bowes, Synchrony, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England, General Dynamics, Purdue, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, Stanley Black & Decker, Webster Bank and more.

The event also included breakout sessions that focused on critical topics that help with business development and customer relationship efforts including:

- “How to Market for Growth”
- “Changing Buyer Requirements - Impact of Changing Technology and Cybersecurity”

The Business Council of Fairfield County runs the statewide program with funding provided by the State of CT Department of Economic and Community Development and several corporations across the state. They receive guidance and input on the program from Corporate Buyers, as well as the CT Supply Chain Roundtable, an organization that was formed to help guide the initiative.

A WOSB is defined as a small business that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women who are US citizens. The ownership must be direct and not subject to conditions. A woman or women must manage the day to day operations of the business and be able to provide documents demonstrating that these requirements are satisfied.
