Miami Photographer’s Art Used as Decor in Uncle Drew Film
South Florida-Based Photographer/Visual Artist Jonathan Brooks' Photographs Used as Set Decor in Another Film
Miami, FL, June 14, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Palm images by award-winning Miami Photographer/Visual Artist Jonathan Brooks are featured as set decor in the upcoming motion picture Uncle Drew.
The Summer release stars NBA superstar Kyrie Irving as his popular Pepsi commercial character, and opens June 29, 2018.
“I’m extremely excited about the exposure,” says Brooks. “My Palm series is near and dear to my heart.”
The fine art photographs were used on the set of a fictitious Myrtle Beach home for the elderly in the film.
Brooks' art has also appeared as decor in the 2017 film Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates, starring Zac Efron and Anna Kendrick. And in 2016, his work was included in the National Endowment for the Arts Emmy nominated short film series United States of Art, which celebrates the organization’s 50th Anniversary.
In 2015, his Skull series was featured on The CW's hugely popular and award-winning television series The Vampire Diaries.

Jonathan Brooks is an award winning photographer and visual artist, whose work has been exhibited in Miami, New York City, Amsterdam, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Brooks graduated magna cum laude with a BS degree from the University of Miami with a Communications Double Major (Advertising and Fine Arts: Photography) and a minor in Marketing.
