Bloomex Partners with Heart & Stroke Foundation
Ottawa, Canada, June 14, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Bloomex Canada is proud to announce the launch of their partnership with the Heart & Stroke Foundation (HSF) for 2018/2019. Bloomex will support fundraising efforts with in-kind donations for staff and donor recognition as well as for major events such as the Red Dress Gala.
As part of the partnership Bloomex will also provide a two dollar donation at checkout option for Stroke Month in June, and for Heart Month in February. In addition, Bloomex will create a signature sympathy bouquet that will see 15 percent of sale donated straight to Heart & Stroke.
Bloomex will also be creating an exclusive red-themed collection to help raise funds for Heart Month in February 2019.
The HSF has helped decrease heart disease and stroke in Canada by 75 per cent over the past 60 years. A staggering 1.6 million Canadians live with heart disease and stroke with 9 in 10 having at least one risk factor. Heart attacks are more deadly for women than mean so the HSF has developed The Ms. Understood initiative to help improve women’s heart health through research and healthcare programs.
