Rhoads Awarded $8.7 Million Modification to Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components Contract

Philadelphia, PA, June 20, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Rhoads Industries, Inc. (Rhoads), a strategic partner and total solution provider of industrial fabrication, installation, maintenance services and facilities, was awarded an $8,718,382 firm-fixed-price modification to a prior contract for Naval Nuclear Propulsion components.

Rhoads will perform services in support of the program from its headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The contract is a sole source agreement to provide installation and technical support at a test site at the Navy Yard in support of their Nuclear Propulsion program. This contract was not competitively procured, in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplier or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division is the contracting activity (N64498-17-C-0014).
