New Pacific Executive Poll Predicts Limited Impact of a US Recession on Multi-National’s China Business
Chicago, IL, March 10, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Earlier this year New Pacific Consulting launched a series of bi-weekly China executive surveys with their panel of 100 China-based leaders of multi-national companies.
This week’s NPC Executive Poll examined the impact a US recession would have on MNC’s China business. The response was loud and clear:
What impact would a US recession (minimum 3 quarters, starting Q2) have on your China business?
• 66% - No negative effect – Increase bottom line at a faster rate then in recent years
• 26% - Bottom line growth unchanged
• 8% - Slight decrease in bottom line growth
• 0% - Decrease top & bottom line performance
