Pro Seal Expansion Provides Capacity for Growth, New Services & Additional Employees

Fort Wayne, IN, June 21, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Pro Seal & Plastics, LLC, an engineering driven, stocking distributor specializing in industrial sealing solutions announces a $2.5 million expansion to double the size of its facility on Vanguard Drive near the FWA airport. An additional 21,500 square foot of office/warehouse space along with expanded logistical operations supports the continued business development goals.

Plans include the addition of a Quick Turn CNC Machine Center Business Unit for same day seal delivery and quality inspection upgrades that includes 3D Scanning technology. This will allow Pro Seal to add 12+ additional employees to the current 14 within a year. The positions, with an average wage in excess of $50,000, are in customer service, sales, logistics and technical support.

Pro Seal was established in 2000 by Jody Stafford and Mark Miller with the current facility having been built in 2007. Pro Seal is an authorized distributor for Parker Engineered Materials Group, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, Freudenberg-Nok Sealing Technologies, Garlock Sealing Technologies, Greene Tweed, Hutchinson and other global suppliers. Its sales reach globally, as far away as, Brazil, Canada, China, England, Italy and Taiwan.

Pro Seal Government Group serves as a conduit for the sale of seals, gaskets, O-rings and kits to the US Government via the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), direct to the Armed Services and serving as a subcontractor to prime contractors used in the ground support equipment, aerospace, naval and other applications supporting US military.

Pro Seal is seeking local tax abatements on its investment plans in building expansion, advanced logistics, CNC manufacturing and 3D Scanning technology; with building construction expected to start in July and finish by year’s end.
