Piano School of NYC Celebrates Students' Achievements in Recitals
New York, NY, June 27, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The Piano School of NYC was pleased to celebrate the achievements of hundreds of their students at close to 20 piano recitals across the Greater New York Area.
Hundreds of students of the Piano School of NYC participated in recitals all over the Greater New York Area: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and Rockland. Students, age 2 to adult, performed on grand pianos in beautiful venues in front of enthusiastic audiences of students, teachers, family, friends and supporters. Each student was awarded a gold medal and a certificate in a ceremony immediately following the recital.
This recital marked the first time many children performed in front of a live audience. It was especially impressive to see students with learning and physical disabilities perform their pieces with confidence.
Vera Anselmo, founder of PSNYC, states, “As a director of the Piano School of New York for the past 17 years, I have seen many students blossom through our programs. Our Annual Spring Recitals are celebrations of each student. We aim to bring much joy and happiness to each child’s life through music education.”
“The recitals boasted excellent attendance and wonderful performances! I especially enjoyed watching the parents, families and our talented teachers beam with pride as a student took their bow,” remarked Manhattan manager of PSNYC, Lindsay Sutton.
