Control Station Leverages Association to Access Global Community of System Integrators
CSIA Membership Facilitates Domestic and International Outreach Efforts
Manchester, CT, June 29, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Control Station today announced its membership with the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA). Through this membership Control Station aligns with the automation industry’s leading not-for-profit trade association for system integrators. Control Station gains access to the organization’s global community of over 450 system integrators.
System integrators play an instrumental role in the deployment and configuration of industrial automation solutions. According to Markets and Markets global demand for integration services is projected to grow at a CAGR of 5.0% through 2022. The growth projection is based on steady deployment of traditional industrial control technologies and increased adoption of analytical solutions associated with the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Collectively these offerings enable manufacturers to automate complex production processes and to achieve more optimal plant-wide performance. With its portfolio of controller tuning and controller performance monitoring technologies Control Station has become a leading supplier of solutions that enhance regulatory control.
“Pulling together experts from across the industrial automation landscape is central to CSIA’s mission,” shared Jose M. Rivera, CSIA’s CEO. “Not only does this partnership allow CSIA to expand its community of best-in-class technology partners, it also provides our members with preferential pricing to Control Station’s award-winning tools.”
Control Station’s Loop-Pro software simplifies the modeling of complex process dynamics and the tuning of PID control loops. It is the only PID tuning software equipped with the proprietary Non-Steady State (NSS) Innovation which enables users to accurately model oscillatory and noisy processes. The NSS Innovation supports the full range of industrial applications including open- and closed-loop, integrating and non-integrating processes, as well as those characterized by long dead-times. Loop-Pro is also the only software product that has been twice recognized with the Vaaler Award. It is ideal for use by system integrators who routinely tune PID control loops during system configuration as it reduces the time needed to tune individual controllers while providing optimal parameters and documenting the decision-making process.
“System integrators have been key to our success as they are often tasked with tuning a manufacturer’s PID controllers,” shared Dennis Nash, Control Station’s President. “We’re pleased to align with CSIA and offer its members discounted access to our toolkit options. Our software has been proven time and again to help integrators tune loops more efficiently and optimally than by other methods.”
Control Station first launched its toolkit licensing program in 2010 in conjunction with Rockwell Automation. The program provides select system integrators with discounted licenses to the company’s Loop-Pro software. Licenses are limited to one (1) year in length. Through the combination of reduced licensing fees and shortened license duration the program aligns with purchasing practices that are typical of system integrators. In recognition of its new partnership with CSIA Control Station has extended preferred pricing associated with its toolkit program to all certified members of CSIA.
Through its partnership with CSIA Control Station looks to continue the expansion of its global reach. The company has successfully licensed its products to manufacturing sites located in over 50 countries and proudly supports nearly one-half of all industrial manufacturers listed among the Fortune 500. Earlier this year the Small Business Administration recognized Control Station as the Exporter of the Year for the State of Connecticut.
Control Station has agreed to license its Loop-Pro technology at a discount to active CSIA members. Membership will be assessed by Control Station and based on the integrator’s active status on the Exchange portal hosted by CSIA.
