FreePoverty.com - Knowledge is All It Takes to Donate Over 1 Million Cups of Water

After surpassing a milestone of donating one million cups of water, FreePoverty.com sees a brighter future thanks to the knowledge of its users.

Rome, Italy, March 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- "Knowing helps", assures the non-profit organization, FreePoverty (http://www.freepoverty.com/). Cleverly created by a 19-year-old university student from Rome, FreePovery has now donated over 1 million cups of water on behalf of its users.

FreePoverty.com offers an online game that tests one's geography knowledge. By locating places on a map, the young foundation donates 10 cups of water with each correct answer.

As its popularity is steadily growing, FreePoverty is looking for advertisers and sponsors who will support the image of the foundation.

"More users and more advertisers mean more site revenues; more site revenues mean the more we donate", says FreePoverty's spokesperson, Rubina Singhsachathet. "We need to help each other to make a bigger difference", she added.

Not only does the game make you feel good about contributing to fight poverty, but after having donated 180 cups of water, it makes you feel smart too. Until, of course, you ask other people what they got and you suddenly feel guilty about your 180.

After surpassing a milestone of 1 million cups of water, FreePoverty.com is not stopping there. There is no limit, but there is one objective: end poverty.
