The First Meeting of Ladies of Literature Took Place Friday June 29, 2018 at Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, NV. Plans Were Set in Place for the July 28 Presentation.
The original conception was to bring Las Vegas local lady authors together to discuss their many different writing styles and the adversities they face. All these ladies bring a myriad of genres and angles to the world of literature. Those attending the July 28, 2018 presentation will be able to share in up to nine different stories, thus resulting in "Ladies of Literature and Their Stories."
Las Vegas, NV, July 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Many of Las Vegas' Ladies of Literature were on hand to discuss the upcoming presentation scheduled for July 28, 2018 10 am-12:30 pm at the Paseo Verde public library in Henderson Nevada. Located near the beautiful Green Valley area and a stones throw from the Henderson Pavilion this will be the site of this the first, one of a kind, presentation.
Fellow authors Vicki-Ann Bush and Linda Stiles Fox are credited in getting the ball rolling. After spending numerous hours traveling to book signings together they first collaborated on what became The Coffee House Tours. These ladies began requesting space at local coffee establishments to present and sign their books. Not long into their run other authors were invited thus the birth of "The Coffee House Tours."
After these signings began it was noticed that some of these lady authors were writing despite some seemingly insurmountable obstacles. From psychological issues to drastic medical diagnoses they write through it all. It was easy to see that besides their writing their stories needed to be told. From this the idea of Ladies of Literature and Their Stories was born.
In attendance at this meeting were authors Lori Piotrowski, Renee Jean, Cynthia De Boer, Susan Johnson and the aforementioned Vicki-Ann Bush and Linda Stiles Fox. Missing from this meeting were fellow authors Judy Salz, Nancy Williams Nelson and Judy Shine Logan.
It is confirmed that these unbelievable and unbelievably strong women will all be speaking at the first Ladies of Literature and their stories event July 28, 2018, 10 am - 12:30 pm at the Paseo Verde Library in Henderson, Nevada.
