Elizabeth Powers Named to Elite Women's Insurance List
Insurance Business America selects top 95 industry women for prestigious honor.
St. Louis, MO, July 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Valley Insurance Agency Alliance’s Elizabeth Powers was recently named to the top “Elite Women” list compiled by Insurance Business America. The organization selected 95 of the insurance industry’s top trailblazing women throughout the nation.
Powers is the Director of Agency Development at Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA), which was founded in 2006. The alliance generates more than $165 million in written premium and is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA), a $7.4 billion national alliance.
In her position, Powers works with existing and joining member agencies to provide resource, training, technology, and consultation in the spirit of perpetuation in the independent agency channel. She manages VIAA’s carrier relationships, as well as oversees the agency foundation. Powers sits on the board of St. Louis Independent Agents and serves on the agency councils for Nationwide, The Hartford, and Palomar Specialty.
