Street Runnaz Click, "Clicks" Its Way Into Digital Entertainment Deals

Digital-age, Atlanta-based Rap Group “Street Runnaz Click” is using the Internet to “Click” their way into several potentially historic making deals.

Atlanta, GA, March 12, 2008 --(PR.com)-- A couple of these multi-faceted deals are said to include Stocks, Internet properties, Film, Stage, Touring, Music, and Merchandising. The most notable of these deals is a multi-year recording contract with historic rap music label Ruthless Records, who recently inked a timely 20-Year Anniversary label distribution deal with industry powerhouse Sony.

The group’s sustained popularity on Myspace which started over 2 years ago, created a snowball effect which landed them in the midst of several situations, including the modern day 360° recording contract with Ruthless Records. Because of the group’s worldwide Internet presence, due in large part to their popular song “Jig Wit It”, Street Runnaz Click is slated to be the 1st release of the 2008, despite being the last signed to the label in November 2007. President & CEO of Ruthless Records, Tomica Woods-Wright expressed that it was all the tools that Street Runnaz Click brought to the table that made this deal work.

Those “tools” include the fact that Street Runnaz Click had several other situations brewing or already consummated, including stock ownership in one of the Internet’s newest Social Networking Websites “The Fam Club.” The other “tools” that they brought to the table include their extensive on-stage performance experience, which labels are now placing at the top of their value chains. The group won virtually every hip-hop performance competition that they had entered into in the Atlanta area over a 2-year period (2005 – 2007), including a 2007 event sponsored by Hot 107.9’s Akini, called “The Best of The Best.”

In addition to this activity, the group had also already began taking on acting roles by making appearances in a gritty Hip-Hop Stage Play called “Speak, I’m Listening”, which was written and directed by Actor/Director Tyga Graham of Tyler Perry Fame. Out of that deal came another offer to take on roles in other works written by Tyga Graham, including a movie called “Reciprocity”, and a new Atlanta-based Cable/Internet TV series called “Cascade Heights”, which is anticipated to debut in the late Fall.

Under the guidance and direction of Red Dirt Productions’ CEO, Keith “K-Luv” Chapman, Street Runnaz Click has found themselves either directly or indirectly plugged into a melting pot of experience which includes not only the deal with Ruthless Records, but partnerships and/or affiliations with notables like Tour Production guru Victor Reed of Starchild Productions and Marketing Technology Consultant Ulysses Chico Chapman of Nations Best Enterprises, Inc. who are all working to position Street Runnaz Click as a permanent fixture in the entertainment industry.

Considering the scope of these deals, coupled with the recent success of other Internet born phenomenons such as Digital Ringtone Rap King, Soulja Boy, Internet surfers seem to be driving the decision making processes of today’s modern day record labels. It looks as though the business decisions made by these 19-year old kids from Atlanta, Georgia could propel them into being the new Kings of Digital Multimedia Hip-Hop.
