Annual Education Conference coming to St Paul RiverCentre August 9. Sessions on How to Interpret Assessment Data, What to do with your Data, Curriculum, Best Practices etc. Peer-Learning sessions too.
St Paul, MN, July 08, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The A+ Education Conference:
Striving to inspire education professionals to transform systems and practice for the success of all students by making student assessment relevant and meaningful.
GTS Educational Events is proud to present the 2018 A+ Education Conference at the Saint Paul RiverCentre on August 9. In its second year, the conference grows the work of the Minnesota Department of Education’s Minnesota Assessment Conference, with expanded programming and a broader focus.
“This year our theme is Transforming Learning,” stated Mary Wynne, Executive Director at GTS Educational Events. “Not only does the conference provide educators with the practical tools on how to put their assessment data into action, but it strives to inspire and get educators to recommit to transform learning for themselves and their school or district,” she continued. “With 30 plus workshops and peer-learning sessions, we are excited to be able to do both.”
The conference will be kicked off by Garth Larson, part-time Director of Learning for the Winneconne Community School District in Northeast Wisconsin and serves as President of FIRST Educational Resources in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In this funny and extremely relevant keynote address, Larson asks participants to examine the choices they make daily. This includes daily choices as members of society, but more importantly the choices we make the impact our students every day.
Registration is available online at www.mngts.org. Anyone who is involved in educating pre-school through grade 12 students in Minnesota is encouraged to attend.
