Industry Expert, Karen Kannen, Joins PowerStone as In-House General Counsel
Former partner at Berding & Weil brings over 20 years experience to create key role at leading property management firm.
Irvine, CA, July 14, 2018 --(PR.com)-- PowerStone Property Management Inc., a full service California-based property management firm, today announced that Karen Kannen joins the firm in the new position as in-house General Counsel. She will join the leadership team and will provide general legal guidance and representation to PowerStone. According to PowerStone CEO Rene Decker, bringing Karen into the company represents quite a coup. He says: “I have known and admired Karen for 23 years as she has worked with PowerStone since the beginning in providing legal representation for our clients. She has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge and expertise and will be a welcome addition to our growing organization.” He added: “She will no longer be representing community associations but will be developing and implementing programs and processes to minimize legal risks to the company as we continue to expand.”
Karen is a graduate of Cornell University and received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review and graduated cum laude in 1990.
