Alzheimer’s Advocate & Writer Nancy Nelson Will be Taking Part in the Ladies of Literature & Their Stories Presentation, July 28, 2018, Paseo Verde Library Henderson, NV
Many of Las Vegas' women writers will be participating in this one of a kind presentation panel. Ladies of Literature and Their Stories will allow these unbelievably strong women to share their written works and the adversities they struggle with each day. On July 28, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am these ladies will hope to share, enlighten and maybe even inspire those in attendance.
Las Vegas, NV, July 14, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Preparation has begun to gather some of the state's best women writers and entrepreneurs for a panel discussion. Ladies of Literature and Their Stories will bring together authors from a myriad of backgrounds, writing a myriad of genres and struggling with a myriad of adversities.
One of these talented and strong ladies is a noted Alzheimer's advocate, author and speaker Nancy Nelson. Nancy is primarily known for her outstanding work with the Alzheimer's Association both state and nationwide. She was diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer’s in 2013.
Ms. Nelson has been awarded numerous awards. Volunteer of the Year – Alzheimer’s Association, Desert Southwest Chapter, Las Vegas, 2016, Nevada Senior Citizen of the Year, May 30, 2018 and then in the same year she was inducted into the Nevada Women’s Hall of Fame.
Known for her ground breaking book, “Blue.River.Apple,” an exploration of Alzheimer's through poetry, Nancy will be sharing from its pages. She has also penned “Blue.River.Apple Second Harvest” in which she continues her ongoing exploration.
Nancy Nelson will be one of nine unique and talented women authors coming together at the Paseo Verde Library, Henderson, NV. on July 28, 2018.
Other notable authors presenting will be Judy Shine Logan, Renee' Jean, Judy Salz, Lori Piotrowski, Susan Johnson, Cynthia De Boer along with event organizers' Vicki-Ann Bush and Linda Stiles Fox.
The panel discussion will begin at 10:00 am. Those interested are advised to arrive early to get the best seats for this one-of-a-kind presentation.
