America Green Solar Expands in the Natural State with the Launch of a New Channel Partner

And with fewer than one thousand homes having solar systems, America’s fastest-growing solar company has plenty of room for further growth in the state of three million.
The Little Rock based franchise will be lead by Reagan Myers, an Arkansas native with a significant background in sales. Myers’ career in sales began in 2012, when he worked with Cydcor doing door-to-door sales. In the six years since, Myers worked his way up to management and expanded his sales experience to include the fields of telecom, home security, and pest control.
Now, Myers is ready to break into the solar sales market. A nature enthusiast who enjoys kayaking, fly fishing, and mountain climbing, Myers spends much of his free time outdoors, and his desire to protect the environment began when he saw people exhibit a disregard for nature: “The trigger started when I would see people litter. I just couldn’t understand it. And that kind of sparked everything as far as getting my mind set that I had an opportunity.”
Despite being a scenic city with a relatively low population of under 200 hundred thousand people, Little Rock was still assigned an air quality control day earlier this week due to heavy pollution. As such, Myers is passionate about helping people in his state understand the benefits of installing solar, from helping the environment to the financial benefits, so they can do their part to help the environment.
Myers describes the solar market in Arkansas as “fertile ground” that has yet to be harvested. He says, “There’s nothing growing yet, but it’s definitely fertile ground for something to explode.”
Indeed, he says the people of Arkansas have been informed of the opportunity to go solar, but the concept has yet to take off: “It’s talked and talked and talked about to where [people] understand the concept, but I think we’re right in the middle of understanding global warming and it’s impact and taking action. It’s clearly hotter here than it’s ever been, there’s water scarcities, it was 80 degrees in December several times this year.”
