Mind Gliding Successfully Launches Its New Innovative Senior Level Management Education Seminar
The UK-based Mind Gliding company successfully launched its innovative approach to educating senior level managers in the fundamentals of ‘being a good manager’ at a full-day seminar at Broome Park, near Canterbury.
Canterbury, United Kingdom, March 07, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The people who participated in the ‘Professional Management Development’ seminar included senior managers from Kent companies like Siegrist-Orel, Lynstead’s Children Services, Beech Tree Total Care and other business executives from London, Jersey and Geneva.
Business Link Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University were also represented. The day started with an introduction to the theory of problem solving and the creation of ‘relationship capital’ as a foundation for good business practice.
Constellations
The morning programme also included a participatory session on management development with the focus on ‘emotional intelligence’ and strategy planning.
Delegates were introduced to a new and unique approach of problem solving in the form of ‘constellations’.
Using this technique participants could create a living representation of issue or problem they are currently facing. This approach is initially seen as being somewhat unusual, it was however well received and resulted in some real problems being resolved.
Peter Gleeson, director of programmes at Mind Gliding said: “Our programmes focus on people’s interaction in their relationships with each other and within the systems, or organisations, in which they are operating. People in business at senior level are often aware of their role and what is expected of them, this creates concerns about their ability to adequately fulfil those expectations.
