HCA/HealthONE's Swedish Medical Center Expands Leadership with New Administrative Director of Cardiac Services
HCA/HealthONE's Swedish Medical Center, a 408-bed Level 1 Trauma center located in Englewood, CO, announced Denise Mathias as the Administrative Director of Cardiac Services.
Englewood, CO, July 31, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Swedish Medical Center announced the promotion of Denise Mathias to Administrative Director of Cardiovascular services. In this newly created position, Denise will help advance Swedish as a regional cardiac referral center beginning with the introduction of Denver Heart, one of HealthONE’s employed cardiology practices, to the Swedish campus later this year. Denise will also assist in overseeing the construction of an additional Catheterization Laboratory and Hybrid OR.
Denise brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will be instrumental in expanding cardiovascular services at Swedish. Prior to joining Swedish Medical Center in 2017 as Director of Volunteer Services, Denise led the Cardiac and Vascular Center at UC Health from 2013 to 2017, and the Eye Center from 2008 to 2013. Since January of 2018, Denise has worked closely with the Cardiovascular Service Line for HealthONE.
The Heart Center at Swedish Medical Center offers award winning comprehensive cardiac care including TAVR and Mitraclip procedures, PCI referral center, electrophysiology services, open heart surgery and ECMO service.
