The Colony Animal Control Shelter and East Lake Highlands Park Hosts the Annual St. Paddy's Pooch Party
Sandra Larson, Animal Communicator will be participating in The Colony Animal Control Shelter's St. Paddy's Pooch Party. The open house will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Patricia Barrington, Animal Control Division Manager says “This is not only a fun, festive event each year for those with pets, but we hope it will also raise awareness and funds for our four-legged friends.”
The Colony, TX, March 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- She goes on to say, “Those who are looking for the perfect pet can stop by The Colony Animal control Shelter and East Lake Highlands Park to view countless precious dogs and cats available for adoption. These are animals from the local shelter and area rescue organizations.”
In addition she adds, “For those who already have pets, they can bring them along to the festivities. We plan to have animal communication session with professional animal communicator & pet psychic, Sandra Larson. Other animal service and product providers present will be dog trainers; discounted vaccinations and grooming; you can check on the cost of putting up that new fence to keep Fido off the streets and out of harm's way; or have your pet professionally photographed.”
She is hoping this will be a great way for pet owners to enjoy the entertainment and gain some helpful hints on animal care. She is looking forward to the agility demos on the half hour by Dallas Dog and Disc Club. With a smile she added, “There will be Pet Contests which include: Best Dressed; Most St. Paddy's Spirit; Best Barking Competition; Owner Pet Look-Alike; Coolest Trick and of course, prizes will be awarded for winners of competitions.”
The following is a list of service and product providers present: Sandra Larson, animal communicator; K9KAT2 Animal Rescue; Paw Prints Photography; DFW Pug Rescue; Sparky's Pals; Starbucks Coffee (423/Lebonon); The Colony High School JROTC; Every Dog's Day Canine Resort and Day Spa; Beans Dogs Cafe; All American Dogs; Home Depot; The Texas Roadhouse; Diva Bags & More; DFW Tzu & More; The Colony Animal Clinic.
